Hey guys! Recently came across the site, thought I would join up!
I'm a 26 year old medic in the Canadian military. I started flying ultralights at 14, but teenage life brought me other surprises. Since then, most of my interest has gone into racing motocross.
I started my flying in champs, did my training in a 701, and the first time I saw an RV-4 I knew exactly what I wanted... Untill I saw a Harmon rocket in action!
I'm heading for tour in the spring, and when I come home, I'm buying a house... not so I have a place to live, but so I have the garage that goes with it to start my build! The only issue is... I have no idea what one to go for...
RV-4 is my dream, but the overall cost is a bit much for a single dude with his own place.
Also looking at the Sonex, and the Zodiac but I'm worried about the safety concern with it.
I rebuilt my first snowmobile at 13 on my own, and was eventually a mechanic apprentice as well as auto body for a year so I'm well equiped technically, I just need the $!
