My Sonerai IIL is for sale. I am only asking what I gave for it. I haven't flown it as most of you know. It has a new GP 2180 VW with about 3 hours of ground break-in done. Magnezium case, Scat heads. Temps and pressures are spot on. Strong static rpm at 3200 to 3400. Sterba mid-range prop. Airframe has about 270 hrs. Won Top Sonerai at Oshkosh in '92 and was featured in cover story in Experimenter Mag in March of '95. Included with the sale - the last copy of this magazine EAA had in the warehouse, and a signed copy of John Monnetts book. Has AWC and engine manual. I can supply more pics if you email me at [email protected]. Only reason for selling is my kids are growing up and in the 3 years I've had it, I haven't been able to do the additional training necessary for me to be comfortable flying rhe plane. I going to light sport.
Let me know if interested.
