I dont know much about building a metal airplane, but had a questioni: here goes: If someone (me ;) ) was to build an airplane out of metal, but used a steel tube frame instead of a monoque style frame, how thick would the skin metal have to be to avoid wrinkling even at high speed. Assume that there will be stringers or such making 1' by 1' squares to rivet the metal skin to.
