I (think) I'd like to build an airplane with a jet or turboprop engine, but I'd like to know some of the advantages and disadvantages compared to a piston engine. This is what I think so far, I'd just like someone to double check before I get too carried away.

advantages:
simplicity
no vibration
lighter weight
usually burns multiple fuels

disadvantages:
endorsement to fly
difficult to find
larger size
greater fuel consumption
noise
