I am looking to buy and bring a plane back into the U.S. that was previously registered here as an experimental. The plane left the U.S. probably 10 or more years ago and no longer has an N number. I believe they have removed placards as well. It looks like I will load the plane in a container and ship it back instead of trying to fly it back from Central America. As this is all totally new to me I have no idea of all the things I need to do or the possible problems. So.... what can you guys tell me about the process and issues?

Thanks,
Jamo
