hey to the winged warriors out there!
my name is Darrin. father of 2 outstanding kids that are and will be eventually involved in everything sports or racing related in the future. and hopefully a little flying too! i started flying back in 99' in an effort to aquire my PPL, but the first of my monsters was due in early 2000. so the money and the flying came to a screaching halt. well 8 years later, the 2 kids, 2 dogs, a part time taxidermy busines, 1 mortgage and a racing go kart operation for my son, it's time to start building a plane. yea i know, when am i going to have time to build a plane. well i didn't say how long it was going to take me, but i'm ready to get in the air again and always wanted to build one. i am going to build a wood/fabric design, because wood has been my preferred material over the years. i have tools for wood you probably have never heard of, so i think i'm ready for the challenge.
anyway, i'm looking forward to meeting some people on here to help me through the stumbles i'm sure i will have building this bird.
