Has anyone built a GP4 or know anyone who has?

Ok, looking for anyone who has any information on building a GP4? Just looking at it for maybe my next build....once the Minimax is done....

Any advice?

Do it. I don't think it's going to be hard at least the wood part. I have not seen plans but have seen projects and fliers. I have thought of a fixed gear Falco to try and simplify but gear going up is so cool.

There's a guy at our local airport that recently finished up a Falco and is taking instrument instruction in it.

There is a Falco local. He didn't build it but he has had it a while and I think he just re paneled it. One of the red Gp 4s comes in sometimes.

Check out www.springfieldaviation.com and read all 54 newsletters on the GP-4. Tons and tons of specific info. There is also a somewhat active GP-4 yahoo group.

There is an active yahoo group - GP-4_Homebuilt_Aircraft_Builders_Flyers.
There is a wealth of info in this group, as there is input from current builders and those who ahve completed and flying their GP4's.
I am currently building a GP4 in Australia.
