May i ask what materials and their thickness are used commonly in exhausts for aircraft engines up to 120hp? For example how thick are the tubes and sheets for an exhaust for the rotax 690?
I would like try a ceramic composite material that works up to 1000ºC and it weights 3kg/m2 in two layers. If the weight gain is reasonable i want to produce a prototype for my vespa motorcycle as a test. Potentially i see several advantages.
