ELT requirements are now becoming important to me as I'm entering the home stretch on my composite skinned BD-4.

I know that the old ELTs made under TSO-C-91 can't be installed "new installations" since 1995. I have 2 Artex ELTs that were manufactured under TSO C-91a and a couple of years ago they were OK for new installs as the FAA rule for the 406mhz got put on hold. Can this model be used now??

Tried to read up on it but the requirements have flip-flopped a couple of times and the info on the web often doesn't have a date of the info so it's hard to cipher.

thanks in advance,
