I am seriously thinking of buying a plane (wooden homebuilt) from an aviation museum.
I have inspected the aircraft and it has no visible damge. The prop turns, but the engine needs a total inspection and probably a rebuild.
The aircraft was donated to the museum and there is NO aircraft/engine logs/certs/paperwork whatsoever, other than the donation paperwork.
Does anyone have any information on the process to get the required paperwork issued to be able to get this plane back in the air? - Many thanks.
