Does anybody know the design requirements for a BRS chute. I read that the main attach point needs to be above and in front of the CG,How much? I am also assuming that you need at least 3 but preferably 4 attach points(is there a standard). I also assume that the chute needs to be at the CG. I can see that the farther I seperate the attach fittings from each other the less the plane would flop about but Is there a specification? How do these mount, do they all have a bridle that needs to be mounted to structure? Anybody know about blow through doors and their details? Any knowledge would be helpful, I'm laying up a fuselage soon.
