Just got back from Oshkosh yesterday. Heard on the radio on the way home that a breezy had gone down, with pilot and passenger injured. Heard this morning the pilot has since died of his injuries. Very sad. There was also another plane , an RV that went down short of a private runway near Whittman regional. Two brothers from Kentucky involved in that one, no one killed but plane is trash. I took my family over to Outagamie airfield on Tuesday evening to show them where I had flown into 4 years ago when I went to the Sonex builders seminar. A twin had landed there wheels up. We saw that one, sitting on the runway with a fire truck nearby. Nobody hurt in that one either.
