Not being able to find thin plywood locally, I called Boulter Plywood.

The trouble with plywood is shipping. Costs a fortune to ship 4x8 sheets. Cut it down to under 36x48 and the price drops considerably.
You can buy a single cut sheet for more per sq inch, or buy a bunch of full 4x8s for less and they will cut the entire job for a very low flat fee.

I pulled out my plans and figured out how best to cut the sheets down, and ordered a bunch of Okoume. I could not be happier. It showed up shipped to my door for less then what I would have spent on just the plywood anywhere else.

So far, I have been able to source excellent CVG Doug Fur, Sikta and Ash boards locally, all at a very reasonable price. I also purchased some Ash from forum member Patrick at Wooden Aviation- Home, and it was very affordable, and excellent quality. Wish I had purchased more as its very useful.

I paid FAR too much for the wood on the tail group as I ordered all of it cut to size. Excellent quality though, and it got me building. No regrets there.

For anyone working with wood. I highly recommend Boulter.
