Hi all,
I have searched the net for information about the reduction gearbox fitted to the AMW808 engine but have come up fairly blank. I know the available ratios, but that's about it.
Does anyone on the forum have any information or could they point me towards a source of information, in particular specifications for this gearbox, i.e. exploded views, weight, input rpm limit, input hp/torque limits, prop limits etc.?
If so, could you please pass it to me?
Does anyone know if 2SI still make this box (I can't call them until next week so if anyone knows in the interim, I'm curious to know)?
Also, if anyone has any experience with this box, could they please report on its' performance/reliability etc.? (Forget the engine, I'm only interested in the gearbox.)
