I'm looking at the idea of building a CH750 from plans in the UK. I have the tools and experience and plenty of CNC equipment to make parts on, so that one is covered.

I also have a good local supplier of alloy sheet in pretty much any grade or quality ... The CH750 is mainly 6061-T6, the basic question is what standards does the material need to be to for a self-build on the UK register? Does it have to be material under an aero "release" or are there less stringent standards available that will be suitable? Will "good quality" 6061-T6 with a bunch of test certs to the usual commercial grades be enough?
