my name is Randy Goodin. Everybody just calls me "Goodin" Don't know if I am, but thats what they call my Dad and thats good enough.
Iam 55 years old vet. Iam married and I loved to fly even though I have done only a little. Do to family medical and 15 grand children I am on a very tight buget. my question is I guess my only choices ofcourse
to build my own. I have my own repair buiness I have rebuilt autos'
and in my buiness i do electrial,carpentry, plumming some sheet metal work . etc,etc, I also do almost all work on my truck and van. I also have done body work and painting. I want a plane that meets sport pilot
regs. I will have to buy used electronics. and cut every corner to be able to have a plane that my wife and I can fly. SHe (linda) loves to fly to. IT will have to have folding wings. I will have to build from plans and smalls pieces at a time. I not very bright as I am sure you can tell but I do love to fly. maby it is just a pipe dream but some how I am going toget it done. I kinda like the sonex idea. but maby on a very small buget I need ot go ultra light used. If any body has any suggestions or Ideas' I just want a side by side two place that can cruise 100 to 125 mph 350 to 500 mile range under 5 gal an hour fuel. should or will I have to buy a used engin, is that my best on a tight bugget.
