What is the best way to Weld up these Holes?

    Ditto what others said about warping
    I once repaired the lower unit of a Honda 90hp outboard motor. Had a broken skeg and severe pitting from corrosion. Used a mig with 4xxx series wire, worked pretty good but spent all night making tools, taking apart and re shimming gears/bearings. Was a bit tight.....and, had to launch first thing in the morning! I think I would explore all options before I welded up holes for hanging a psru on, at least for us amateur welders.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Have welded and warped, just re-machined to obtain proper fit.
