Hello everyone. I am a private pilot SEL.
I flew a quicksilver float plane in the Fl keys a few years ago.
I really liked it. I now have a chance to buy a 1995 Aventura HP with the 503 engine. Engine is new with around 15 hrs and the plane looks very clean. Airframe has around 200 hrs. The seller is the original owner/builder. The plane has not flown for close to 2 years. The owner fogged the engine for extended storage.
He will replace all fuel lines and check ride before the sale.
The plane has no N number.
I don't know anything about these planes and any suggestions would really be appreciated. I can get the plane with hanger for under 10K. All things considered it looks like a good deal.
I am looking at the plane again on Sat. What should I be looking for as far as issues with it?

Danny
