I see that James Wiebe of Belite Aircraft has a new twist on his LED "patch" instruments, a small multifunction display (the photo may be of a prototype as it looks a bit rough).

I like the large ASI and VSI, though personally I'd want an analog altimeter in that 2.25" cutout and I'd just add an ordinary slip/skid ball elsewhere. You could add an analog tach and a couple of Belite patch CHT/EGT gauges and you'd have an all analog panel scan (in the sense of no digital readouts to read, even though some are electronic instruments) for a reasonable amount of money and not much weight.

What do folks think of this MFI, or the Belite patch instruments in general?

Cheers,

Matthew

PS--Anyone at Oshkosh want to stop by the Belite booth and give us a report?
