New member (duh), getting into Homebuilt/Experimental aircraft building.

When I was a kid my dad had an old wooden built kit he had acquired, finished to the point of being able to taxi w/o the wings, but never flew it.

Not that I'm 33 and have a family of my own, were talking about getting back into building an aircraft as a team potentially in the future.

The RV's are surely an option. What we are currently researching are high wing, fast aircraft with a more current design...and that appears to be harder then one would think. Sure the BD-4 and Whitman Tailwind are great planes, but they're old school, poor visibility (one could argue with the Tailwind, but there are braces all over the place on that thing where the windows are.)

I'll save that posting for another post.
