Hi,
One final question (for now)...
I plan to use a freewing on my project. Once I have sorted out the wing dimensions, pivot point (based on the position of the lift vector @ my projected cruise speed) I need to consider takeoff and landing phases.
The wing will be built without flaps. The reason for this is that for extra lift, the entire wing can be pivoted to produce greater AoA. With the NACA747A315 airfoil and a MAUW of 700lbs, Design Foil says my stall speed will be 52kts (60mph) but at this speed DF claims I am only producing 433lbs of lift? This doesn't make sense...
