I would think the pressure difference would be far greater towards the tips than near the center of each blade. Wouldn't that cause air to flow outboard on the top of the blades? On wings, it flows inboard. And do centripital forces affect the cross flow?
And would a highly tapered propeller reduce induced drag? Or would the lowered reynold's number make boundary layer drag worse?
