"Bolt on" twin engines for sailplanes

I was driving along tonight and it occured to me that maybe single engine launching engines for gliders werent the right solution.

Most of these engines are either bolted to the top and have terrible trim and elevator problems, or they require the entire aircraft to be redesigned to fit a motor on the nose.

What about adding bolt on engines to the wings? And adding gear under them?

Since the wings surface is not designed to take landing gear shock, it would require a belly frame with a padded spacer to distribute the force spanwise.

The wing is also likely not designed for a lot of torque from an engine hanging off the front, so the engine would likely have to be mounted on the rear and fed over the top of the wing to a forward prop. The mount to this would serve as a tank and as a landing gear assembly.

The whole thing would be held in place by industrial grade nylon, which is 1000lbs vehicle rating per inch of width. This takes into account automotive level of shock, which is far greater than aircraft levels of shock, so there is no doubt in my mind that it will work as well.

It would likely also require a nose gear be installed, which would likely have to stick off the front in a small radome.

The whole assembly would have a thin padded sub frame attached to the belly to make sure they are all aligned properly and to make sure if one loses its mounts the others hold it in place.
