    The electrons in wire tend to congregate at the surfaces. The more conductors the better, but don't overdo it. The extra cost isn't worth it. Besides, it's harder to trim and crimp the real fine stuff and not nick or cut some of the wires.

    Mike T. Manual, as in using a torch. As opposed to sticking the whole thing in an oven. (blast funace?) Just conjecture. I've welded a half-dozen things in my life. I did take a materials class in college though.

    Mike T, If the manual normalization is done, couldn't it be done section at a time? Do a section or leg. Go through the cooling process and then do another section that overlaps the previous. Shouldn't go out of wack then.
