    Engine at altitude calc.....help

    On my dream UL project, it originally called for a 22hp 2cyl Onan 4 cycle engine. I assume that was based on a sea level calculation (California) What hp/engine would you need for the same performance at 7500' ???

    Figuring CG on a new design?

    Probably Orion knows the answer...... If a person wanted to design an aircraft.... I guess you could figure the center of lift from the design of the wing, if you used and established wing design. I'm also guessing that the CG wants to be ahead of the CL. But how far? Once you knew those two...
