    Mechanical Fuel Pump Issue

Thanks for your input guys, I'm wondering if there is a regulator that would work with a mechanical fuel pump.....most of the stuff I have seen is for an electric pump. If you know of a regulator with return that can regulate with a mechanical fuel pump and can get pressure down to 3.5psi I sure...

    Mechanical Fuel Pump Issue

TFF, I think you got it, what I think I will try is tee off the fuel pump out line to a pilot controlled needle valve with the output of that going to the top of the tank. I could tweak the needle as required to set the pressure. thanks to all responders! Jon

    Mechanical Fuel Pump Issue

Guys, thanks for your replys. Delta , I believe you are correct about 2different sizes of rod, the alternator being the shorter. I believe the the block is the same for both. 7psi is constant from idle to mid power, and I would rather not use a regulator or restrictor. Hot, I have seen numerous...

    Half VW Static Thrust

Thanks Dan, My main concern was take off performance at a 5 or 6000 ft density altitude. The current prop is a 60 and I think the vw uses 54 or so. Jon

    Half VW Static Thrust

Hi guys, I have a Loehle Sport Parasol that I've flown on the Rotax 447, I am not really happy with the 2stroke (I like engines that have oil pressure gauges! It gives me one more thing to look at during flight) anyway I was looking at the Hummel engine, I think it looks pretty good but I have...
