    Stainless gas welding

    titanium push rods

    I wish to use titanium or even carbon instead of steel for all my Pitts push rods.Original is 4130N 5/8" x .035".It seems that titanium is more flexible than 4130N steel,so i could use 3/4" x 035".Carbon is very stiff.The big deal,is how to fix the parts where the bearings are bold at each ends...

    Hi I have some 4130N tubes to bent for my Pitts tail. 3/8" x .035 radius 1"3/4 , 1/2" x .035 radius 11" , 3/4" x .035 radius 8" and 12" .How to do that without flatten the tubes?Do i have to use special tools. Cheers Jean-luc
