    Opencockpit radio volume

He has been extremely helpful and informative. I was amazed at how fast his response was and he has certainly been a great resource already.

    Opencockpit radio volume

Ron, I emailed your buddy and he built up a few more adapters. I placed my order just a few moments ago. I'll be able to take the plane up and try it in mid September. Thank you so much for helping solve the problem !

    Opencockpit radio volume

My open cockpit airplane is giving me trouble hearing the radio. Its non-electrical so I am using a handheld radio. It's a VERY loud airplane. I've got an ANR headset with my Sky Cowboys helmet. Would an intercom boost my volume? How can I make it so I can actually hear the radio? Right now...

    Ferry Permit during Phase 1

As I dig deeper I think that's probably it. It's a beautiful plane and they probably said "hey, let's straighten this out and just redo from the get go". We have found a workable solution. All parties involved have been very respectful and are working to a positive solution.

    Ferry Permit during Phase 1

Yea that was what I was afraid of. Weird thing is the plane has 400 hours on it. It's just out of a restoration and apparently got put back into Phase 1?

    Ferry Permit during Phase 1

Will the FAA ever issue a ferry permit if a plane is in Phase 1 and was bought by someone new? The idea being to ferry it to where it will finish Phase 1.

    Lycoming O-290 manual

I'm finishing a purchase of an experimental with an O-290C on it. I can find a manual for an O-290D but not a C. Are they close enough that the manual contents for the D would be good for the C?

    Tech Counselor help needed

I haven't fully committed to which one yet. Currently I'm leaning towards the Aeromomentum AM13 or Jabiru. I just dont want a rotax and the continentals are too heavy and expensive for the power you get in my opinion. I wish I could swing a bigger prop on the Jabiru so that's why I keep coming...

    Tech Counselor help needed

I'm building a Fisher Horizon 2. Its a bit of an outlier in the Fisher Community too. Most people seem to be building the Dakota Hawk or 80% tiger moth. Heres a few photos of my planned scheme and where I'm at.

I am having a very hard time finding a tech Counselor or A/P to help me with my build. Since I'm building an all wood aircraft and not the usual RV type, no one seems interested or able to help. If anyone has any contacts in the Dallas area that could help support my build with occasional...
