Problems with getting acetylene, any ideas on substitutes?
Acetylene is very hard to get right now, my understanding is that the factory that makes the carbide the acetylene producers use to produce the gas blew up at the end of March. CNC cutting of epoxy prepreg
I would think laying out the required layers of un-cured pre-preg flat on a piece of plastic that would act as a carrier then diecutting the parts out in a nested pattern would be more cost effective and quicker if you are looking at production rather than a one off.
