    Moni - personal motorglider

I read your post and knew what you meant.:gig: I got my hands on some articles on the orginal plane. Has all the dimensions for construction. Will attempt to make one later once I have all the information. Thanks for replying to the post:ban:

There are no real plans for the plane. There is a manual for the assembly process of the plan. Looking at the basic structure, it doesn't seem like it would be hard to build one from scratch. The only problem would be the wings, I believe.

That plane is almost twice the weight of the original! It also looks larger than the original.:wail:

    Moni - personal motorglider

Hi all, I was going through ebay and won this information packet on the Moni motorglider. After doing a basic search, I found out that the plane is no longer available do to the company shuttting down in the later 80's. I was wondering if anyone has plans on this plane or where could I...

    Tinbuzard - One off design

Pusher Designs :ban: The pusher design has merit :ban: Hey Orion, I am building a large scale L-39 to see if it can be done! I'm going with a gas engine and the plane will be huge. (Still not convinced it could carry over to full scale, but at least this is the least expensive way to find...

    Deciding on design

I now have a wing design and a vertical stab design that I will add to the plane. :lex: Now I have to incorporate them in my drawings then go from there.

    Ducted Fans

Hey Need-To-Build, You should call EAA. I remember there was an article about a guy looking for funding for a ducted fan setup. :gig: I know it was in an EAA sport Aviation magazine. :D I'm not sure what year or month it was in but I know it was at least two years ago.

Thanks for the observations. :D The tail isn't short, just that the picture is cut approxamatly in half. I tried to get the whole plane in the picture but it didn't show up well at all. The vertial stab is too large. I am in the process of redesigning it. I think I failed to mention that...

    Deciding on design

Now that we see what I am really up too, any comments on drawing plans? the measurements are based on 12" because I'm 72" tall. I'm guessing everything will be scaled by factor of 6. I am basing the design on the KRS homebuilt plans. As for the wing, I was thinking of buying a wing kit from...

    Deciding on design

Wow, You're right!:p: That is a lot of work! But at least it is doable. :gig: I do agree that C/G and Ground clearance would be the ultimate problem for the plane. I don't believe the wing would have to be moved back, then again, I'm not the expert here. As for the fuel...

    Deciding on design

I know this isn't enough to go on buy I don't want to risk showing anymore of the plans because of copyrights. The plane is like building a plane within a plane. The outer side is ducting for cooling air. I was going to place the radiators in the duct to cool the engie. the fuel tank would...

    Deciding on design

What I was looking at is the way the engine block runs from F-6 back to F-5. If it was continued all the up to lets say the inlets, there would be some sort of reinforcing beams to strengthen the fuse.
