Wanted - Baker Bobcat / Supercat plans

The gyro is in a small hanger belonging to my instructor The blades were boxed and the hub in a large wheeled toolbox. I have to do some small work on my gyro before it can be finally approved. So the controller and my instructor had a talk about helping me out to speed it up. My instructor then...

Wanted - Baker Bobcat / Supercat plans

Wanted - Baker Bobcat / Supercat plans

Bruce, that's quite a lot of pages. And I already packed the lot. But if I can get over my laziness, I might.. I like info to be available. So that's a project when the weather is bad - and I have finished ground school in early november. (I don't think NZ has opened for mail by then) Right...

What did you do on your airplane project today?

Wanted - Baker Bobcat / Supercat plans

Hi. I have an original set of Bobby Baker Bobcat plans - Serial# 580. Construction manual and newsletters... Last year I bought a used MTO Sport Gyrocopter which is now nearly ready to fly. Just very small issues. (I'll use it to get my license and then keep me occupied) So I'll never get to...

    Funke Radio

Funke transceiver - standard 25 kHz Auto-Gyro install. From my MTO Sport (originally 2007 MT-03) I bought last year. I installed a new 8.33 Funke transceiver, so this is surplus. The buttons aren't pretty - but I tried using it and it works. (I don't have a license yet) Asking price is US$ 150...

    Ebay Today

Sorry, I misread. As I read it (too quickly), the length of one blade was 48". I can now see, one blade is 29.5", so it's about 59" in dia. of course. I could've used that prop for the Gyrobee I'm building (slowly). It's a good price, even for a quite old one. But I already bought a new 60"...

    Ebay Today

Isn't it a 72" ? 48" for one blade plus sin 30 deg (0.5) times 48" makes 1.5 times 48" which is 72". Or am I all wrong here? Cheers Erik

How dissimetry of lift is managed in Bensen type gyroplanes?

I could not let this sentence stand... Mainstream gyro heads still have the simplicity of the Bensen heads.... No swashplate.
