Heat Shrink Tubing Wire Marker and Schematic Software

Brother makes the most common. The latest is the PTH500LI. I have an older model PT300 or something like that. It will do heat shrink tubing, flags, etc. You just purchase the appropriate cartridge and print. I have used this for a number of years and it is great.

Anyone like to comment on Vikings new muffler ?

I'm sorry bmcj that that "and" was injected into the statement versus "in". I guess my old age and your lack of understanding just do not equate.

Anyone like to comment on Vikings new muffler ?

Hmm, still seeing a lot of smoke, LOTS of assumptions. I don't need any "creds" to understand that I would not make comments without understanding what I am speaking of. If I had the unit in my hands and tested it then I would comment because I then have some understanding. And I would not...

Anyone like to comment on Vikings new muffler ?

Not to be a PITA but, I would suggest that most of the individuals reserve their comments until you have a unit and hand and are able to analyze sme. I really get tired of the "expert" opinions when they have no clue. If you want to complain then get behind the complaints with some factual data.

S-21 Firewall forward: Aeromomentum or Viking

I am not quite understanding what you are saying.... By the way, A Viking engine is not completely torn down and put back together. The engines they get in are modified with components that allow the Honda engine to be used as an aviation related unit. I just came back from Viking after getting...

    LS3 conversion for RV10

Rbender, I would look at autopsrus.com for a package. They have an RV10 with their firewall forward package and it has been flying for quite a while. Give them a call and they can bring up to date

"DIY" level equipment discussion for doing TV analysis on a budget

My question is what are you measuring? What is the end game here? Are you looking for vibration through an RPM range? My prop balancing unit does that and gives me an analysis of the vibration spectrum from idle to max throttle. Certainly not in exact detail but if I have any vibration it...

    Arduino-Based Instruments?

Vern, For your engine power display, are you getting data from EFIS or standalone? I am running the GRT Sport EX EFIS. I currently am getting all my engine data from the CANbus (Viking engine) plus multiple sensors through a CANbus extension board which accepts sensor and places data on...

    Non- Biased Engine Reviews -Viking

"The real problem everyone has with Jan is not so much that his FWF solutions are a work in progress, it is that he ignores- blatantly- things that could result in a pilots death, never admits any issue, and always without fail puts every single issue back on the pilot who trusted thier lives to...

    Viking and aeromomentum

I am running a Viking 195Turbo and have been playing with it since 2016. Granted the plane is not a Zenith. I have never had any issues dealing with Jan and he has supported me at every turn. From a customer support perspective I would rate Viking very high. I would be very careful while...

Airplane For Sale Breezy Project for sale

For those interested and for the others that just like to pontificate... The Breezy has been sold

    Prop balancing

My suggestion is to find someone with a good prop balancer setup. You are dealing with too many unknowns, not to mention the math involved. That is the reason I purchased a Dynavibe GX2 balancer. Instead of pulling my hair out I use the GX2 and after 3 runs (normally) I am finished.

iLevil 3 AW or 3 AP as primary flight instruments

I use the BOM as a backup to my panel but as stated previously the Ipad becomes the problem (heat). For recording data I use the GRT to record all flight info and I use a CANbus display (PowerTune Digital) to display all engine info along with recording all engine data.

    New Member Georgia/Florida (Avmech)

I would recommend you find a local EAA chapter and start talking to the members with aircraft. You will get a ton of info that you have to sift through. As an example our local chapter has builders that have/are planes from the Sonex jet to ultralights and many in between. No to mention the...

Airplane For Sale Breezy Project for sale

Since there has been minimal interest in the Breezy project, our chapter will entertain any offers for parts. The first post has a list of components that are in the plane. If anything interests you then inquire and/or make an offer.

    Honda K20C1 FK8 Auto-Engine Conversion

dwalker, your most recent comments are almost totally ridiculous. I am not going to get into details other than to say you are making a number of unsubstantiated statements. I'll leave it at that.
