Best priced GPS for the money?

I just bought a Garmin 450 World GPS thinking it had voice turn by turn, but it dosen't and it is a little small for me to see. Other than opening the box and playing with it on my desk it is brand new, and i would take $200 for it.

Best priced GPS for the money?

Does anyone have expearance with the iFLY 720 GPS? I was looking also at the Garmin 500. The only way I can justify the cost is the ability of these two to be used in the plane and car.

    Dead Stick Landings

I don't want to mention my plane tupe, as It would set off a fire storm. My plane would be lucky to do 70 MPH diving towards the ground. I make my approach at 60 MPH IAS touching down between 50 and 55 IAS with 1500 RPM for a nice three pointer. Plane handles well in flight, and it is only...

    Dead Stick Landings

What would be the best wing design for LSA or untralight type craft that will allow you to land with low or no engine power. My plane does not want to flair with low or no power, is this a CG or basic wing design problem?

    51%

I wasn't talking about a simple restoring of a fuselage. I was talking about using a donor fuselage, and building the rest of the aircraft from plans. If you have a completed fuselage, of any kind built by anyone, how much, or what percent of the total aircraft does it makeup? I'm not trying to...

    Elevator push/pull tube

I have changed my home built from cables controling the elevator to a push rod set up. Is there a way I could lay weight on the elevator without damage so I could do a static test?
  14. D

What to use for push/rull rods

How long can you go with 5/8 6061 T6 .058 before you need supports? is 5/8" acceptable for an elevator the run is less than 4' and can there be any flexing of the push tube?

What to expect for the Rotax 447

I have a 2.58 gear box. I want to build a Lee Miranda if I can find some more information on one. Will it really fly?

    Wing Struts

I will probably order aluminum struts from Carlsons, but I hate to spend over five dollars a foot. The streamlined aluminum struts are not that much more that 1 1/4" 4130 round tube.
