My Kitfox has folding wings and that would make keeping it in a garage possible. You want to make sure you have a 2 car garage with only one large door. Many Regular garage doors are too narrow for a Kitfox to fit through with wings folded. While I admit $150/mo for a hangar is great there...

Well Nick, here's my experience. In 2008 I bought a Kitfox III with Rotax 912 for $23k. I am paying $150/mo hangar. Insurance is under $900/yr. I fly 120 hours per year, 3.5gal/hr $5/gal. Owner assisted annual costs about $200/yr including parts. Throw in another $400/yr in parts oil...

    Wheel landings in a taildragegr

I recently listened to a lecture by noted tail wheel expert Bud Davisson about landing a taildragger. It is his opinion that wheel landings are for gusty winds only and that under normal winds a 3 point landing is best. Pete Kitfox III

Narrowing the Choices, Shortening the List...

You can get a medical as you get older. I have high blood pressure and glaucoma and a few other things wrong. But I did have to jump through some hoops. I'll never take another FAA physical. I'm trying to buy a Kitfox and will fly it LS.
