The braised housings would have realized consible weight savings, otherwise what's the point. It would be interesting to know what post treatment the aussie are doing to their replaceable inserts. I have been told by some racers, that most do NO treatment after grinding and lapping.

Y You would need to ask him. In the start he was quick to respond to comments, but I think he is way to busy now.

His tube design is sealed at the base, and he has also designed and manufactured sealing plates to avoid the epoxy fill in, which eventually fail. A lot of his current work is for customers building 4 rotor.

O Okay, I look at it as the website is gone, so there is no interest in selling engines. I am not sure if they ever sold any engine packages, and it they did, then keeping the email address active allows some form of support. But then again maybe I am looking at it wrong.

I would think the best possible surface would be chrome like the rotor housings. Grinding the HardChrome flat would be relatively easy.

I am not involved with that utube project. It all there in the episodes. Last I seen they were on the dyno.

Yes, most of those with interest in Wankels know that, this one rotor was built for street, not aviation. 2 piece alu aussie end plates change that weight issue.

They sold at one time cast alu, with a coating. I think the aussie with cnc billet with cast iron inserts forced them out of the market. Steve
