    Ducted fan aircraft

Why you want us to use somebody else fans? Our setup working just fine and I don't plan to switch design of our plane... I don't understand your suggestion...

Electric motors so compact, they easy fit inside central fan body( its can be 30-35% of the fan diameter). Because of it, fan motor could be placed before or after the fan itself, should be no difference...

Thanks everybody for good words and good wishes - we need them... We're still working on fans manufacturing process, hopefully in next few month we will came out with something. The same applies to the place of manufacturing the kits, more likely that sales and kit warehouse, some production...

Not is bad, as in single engine piston prop airplane... In our PJ-II too, you can talk to each other easy even without headset!

Henryk, you drive everyone nuts with your noise comments every time we toked about ducted fans. They are not so noisy like you try to prove. Here the Rotax powered replica of Bf-109 flyby sound and 600 hp Fantrainer doing flyby, or our PJ-II also. Is there much difference?

    Ducted fan aircraft

As I said before - ducted fans in our airplane DON"T pickup RPM"s with flying speed increase, like fixed pitch propellers do. We have the same 5000 RPM at maximum static takeoff power settings and same RPMs at 250 -300 km/h flying speed. It's phenomenon or what?

If you talking about fan hub, blades are not bonded to it. But aluminum base of blades build into it in forming process. Here in this photo show how its made - pretty much like any composite propeller blade.

    Ducted fan aircraft

No. Nothing from aircraft is missing. But if some screw, washer or nut is left in engine compartment(accidentally doped it there) then its possible that it can be socked in fan air duct. Because we did added NACA air intakes to an engine compartment, its a lot of air going through it and its...

    Ducted fan aircraft

We have only one spare blade, but we need at least 3 blades to replace. To make new "old" blades don't make any sense to do, as we will replace them anyway. We have new blades already made, now we need to make a new hubs for the fans. Then we need to test them on the ground first, to see how...

Now weather has improved, we did tried to fly, but just before the flight, on taxi airplane safer right fan damage. Now we need to make 3 new fan blades(we have only one spare), or start to work on new fans(new blades)

We're trying to get our PJ-II in the air on Wednesday November 29th(if weather will cooperate), so tomorrow and Tuesday we need to finish all prep work on the airplane. And its look like we should be able to do it, as majority work is done.
