feasibility of designing or modifying kolb wing to work as a motorglider

i continue to look for a motorglider that has an easy folding wing, since hangars around here are non-existent. i realize the Piuma looks very similar to the Kolb firefly. is it crazy to think about getting an extended wing designed and likely extend the tail boom a bit to create a motorglider...

Proposal would give UAS (drones) right of way over all aircraft

my understanding is that it is the 51% of tasks, not time, which is why rv quickbuilds will have some things incomplete for the builder to do, even tho the factory could have done it easily.

Rivets - simple misunderstanding or misled by liars?

yes and no, a countersunk rivet significantly increases the shear strength in that the diameter is increased, so stronger tha a non-dimpled rivet.

    Shop/Garage lighting

recently went to harbor freight and bought 12 of their LED shop lights. individual pull chains allow me to dial in lumens and areas needed. could not find cheaper cost per lumen. replaced 8 8' fluorescent fixtures. replaced original hardwiring with outlets, since HB fixtures have a cord.
