    Dyno testing of the combined engine-reduction drive system seems like a really cost effective way to build confidence in that system and reduce risk. After watching Elliot's video it seems like the Raptor engine was tuned by just trial and error and "sounds about right".

    Valdosta is near the FL border, a 4 hr drive south of Cherokee? I don't know how close he lives to Cherokee right now but I don't envy a 4 hr one-way commute.

    Cool! Thanks for sharing! The master's degree in flight test engineering is a pipe dream of mine, but the price tag ( :fear: $1 million as Elliot notes) is likely to keep it that way. Maybe I'll forgo some vacations and try the short courses.
