I am familiar with the Blackburne name from the world of British motorcycles, but have never seen this tiny 3 banger jewel they once made.
The other one: Velie was a car, airplane and engine manufacturer I have never before encountered:

Took grandson over to the Edmonton Aviation Museum (a small but nice collection) to visit my old Expediter (on view there....embarrassing when kids asked me where my last airplane is now and I have to tell them!!) and these two pieces I though would be an inspiration to those who might think it worth building a sub-VW engine.
