Tri-Mower.
Starting to get a bead on it.
Basically (believe it or not) it is a take off from the VP-3. The forward pilot position is in practical terms just a weight and balance (W&B) swap for the original concepts VW engine. While the 49ci industrial rear engine and the at this time hard to make out two side mounted forward engines of the same 49ci are just positioned for and aft of the approximate 1/4 chord line so that the rear engine is twice as far aft as the two side mounted engines are forward of it. This allows for the center either pilot or passenger to least effect the W&B as either would sit about the 1/4 chord. The fuselage is longer so much of the more elegant curvature of the VP-3 is lost in the lengthened mid section and to accommodate a larger flying tail volume the empennage is thickened. The wing will be appropriately larger as well and I am waffling on the size but chord to be in the 54 to 58 inch range and looking at an 18% thickness and a wingspan of 24 to 27 feet (not really knowing any better just "guest"imating) and intend to do better. Construction methods at this time remain largely unchanged from the original VP except using either modern epoxy or resorcinol glue.
