I am wondering about the long belt drive systems used in modern motorgliders. Would a long belt drive system work for a low powered, 45-65 hp., UL aircraft?
It seems the belt might flap a great deal. If it is feasable it would work into a design study I'm plodding through.
By the way I've flown behind Rotax 2 strokes. I have 2 glider landings in my log book. Do I qualify as a glider pilot?
