Was flying RC jets today ; at my field in RedRock canyon.
A young couple, with a 10'ish year old son , from Australia
show up to watch . The Dad says to the son : " Wish we had
room , to bring back a fun toy like that " .
Being the A$$ (0) i am , I say :
Dump the wife ; there'd be plenty of room for a fine EDF jet like
this , in your luggage !
The Dad , and the boy both Laugh ; Mom bats me on the back
of the head , (Hard) Ouch !!
Then Mom askes : "Where'd ya lose your legs" ?
I say : "My girlfriend cut them off , so I wouldn't run
away" ; took her to that movie Misery , and she got some
really weird ideas !! YEP , I got hit on the back of the
head again, (Ouch it was Hard) ; everyone Laughed , even the kid !!!
Cultural differences from country to country ; they differ so
greatly . Ain't no way an American winch , would do the same ; but
she was brought-Up in a different environment , where they
play Rugby, without the pads that rich , timid , American foot-ball
players use.
Me personally : I love it ; people from all over the world are so different !!!
I would not want it any other way ... ...
