My offering today is a Boomerang based airplane. This Rutan design has MUCH to offer in terms of performance and efficiency.
Third-hand observations suggest that the need for re-trimming is a PITA, but I suggest that modern methods and/or autopilots can eliminate that problem.
The pressurized carbon fiber fuselage could be altered so that the forward entry hatch is eliminated, and propulsion is two AeroMomentum 2.0T 300 HP engines for lottsa speed.
Full participation of Burt Rutan should be sought, with an eye on creation of perhaps ten prototype airplanes, by individuals of some means, or an 'Angel'.
Success would see folks with some very desirable sport planes, and the start of a composite kit production company.
