Build this little device to measure the surface roughness. Works great. Ddefinitly you cannot trust the sanding block.
The problem you cannot use it at the leading edge and as far as I know the leading edge is the most important area to preserve laminar flow. Any idea on how to measure the roughness at the leading edge and how to sand it optimally?
