Hi

There are thousands of C150/152 flying all over the planet, and most of them with O-200 or similar thirsty engines.

I'm wondering how to proceed to retrograde a C150/152 into an experimental aircraft useing a lighter, more fuel efficient and powerfull engine, in Switzerland?

There exist a Rotax powered C150/152, but it's certified and thus expensive again.

My wish would be a C150/152 with a D-Motor LF39 in the nose or even a ICP Mo9.

Both engines can deliver around 120hp, which would be required to haul myself, copilot, fuel and baggage.

The 100hp version is just not powerfull enough, and the engines with STC's which are 160hp or more, outrageously expensive and heavy again.

Bst rgds
