I have a gorgeous, brand new Culver prop but the mounting pattern is for a force one VW hub instead of SAE-1. I suppose that one could rotate the pattern 30 degrees and drill a new set of mounting holes. Is this a bad idea? I don't know if this would cause safety issues. Would doweling the existing holes be advisable in the process?

Edit: for those who don't read the thread, I am not going to do this. I am selling the prop and buying a new one.
