I am not sure if it allowed to discuss other aerodynamics than aeroplanes here, but I might make a car first of the fuselage thinking of my aeroplane design.

I have found 1986 NLF file and some info on few recumbents..some have CdA as low as 0.0125 m2...and coefficients below 0.08 etc.

NACA old data shows 0.04 to be the lowest cylindrical mass drag coefficient..is this still valid data ?
