Sorry. This does not seem to be the place for this (moderators?) but...
In the support vacuum from RANS, I need to ask for help here: If anyone has an S-12XL, would they be willing to take some images and basic measurements of the link pushrod (#11 in the attached schematic) between the rod end at the control stick assembly and its entry into the elevator push-pull rod between the seats? I know it is 5/8" diameter tube but need to know if it is aluminum or steel (magnetic?). Also helpful would be the approximate length from the control stick assembly end to the tangent of the bend and then the approximate length from the bend tangent back to the entry into the elevator push-pull tube. Any estimate of the bend radius would also be appreciated.
This piece was not in my kit and so far RANS has not replied if a replacement is available from them - at any cost!
