OK, as a total airplane nut and plans collector, I have finally aquired a set of Stol King plans. These are very well drawn. Some of the best in my collection. This is a neat design. The plans show a six hundred pound empty weight with a Walter Micron engine. This is one of my favorite engines.
It shows a twelve hundred pound gross weight with two ten gallon fuel tanks. One thing I really like is the fuselage is made of smaller diameter tubing.
One thing I learned when I built my biplane fuselage is that the smaller diameter tubing is much easier to fit and weld. I would like to know what engine is in the Stol King in this picture. My guess is that it is a LOM.
