I've pretty much decided on the Pietenpol for my project. However, engine choices abound. I'm not necessarily asking for someone to make that decision for me, I'm looking for pointers and tips so I can make an informed decision. While I have my wife's blessing on this project, I don't have deep pockets for a certificated type engine. I'm open to reasonable alternatives and appreciate any input.
